Chris has always been a nerd for all things art, science fiction, and fantasy. He grew up an athlete who played the saxophone and enjoyed signing up for anything art-related throughout his school years. Fast forward to 2014, and Chris finally got his tattoo license, finding himself doing a variety of work ever since. He started off in a beach shop in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, called Wicked Parrot, where he experienced a rush of tourist tattoos and stayed extremely busy. After a couple of years, Chris transitioned to Independence Tattoo, where he finally had time to paint during work. He found inspiration in local and global legends such as J.D. Crowe, Ed Hardy, Scott Sterling, Burt Grim, and many others. Now, ten years into tattooing, Chris is continuing to perfect his craft. Welcome to his life!
